Drug Testing Information
On March 9, 2020, Calallen ISD Board of Trustees approved revisions to FNF(LOCAL) policy which instituted a Random Drug Testing policy for Calallen High School students involved in extra-curricular activities and students who wish to utilize parking privileges at Calallen High School. In addition, the Random Drug Testing policy provides for voluntary participation for students who are neither participating in extra-curricular activities nor are driving students.
Initially, FNF(LOCAL) policy was to be implemented during the 2020-2021 school year, but due to COVID-19 the Random Drug Testing program implementation was delayed. Beginning with the 2021-2022 school year, the Random Drug Testing program was fully implemented and has continued with subsequent school years.
All participating students will need to have a signed consent form in order to be involved with extra-curricular activities or exercise parking privileges. Parents of students who wish to voluntarily request their student to to be added to the drug testing pool must also sign a consent form. Please review all information concerning Calallen ISD Random Drug Testing policy provided below. You may download and signed the consent form below and return it to the student's extra-curricular coach/sponsor or if it is only for a parking permit, return the form to Calallen High School Front Office. If your student wishes to exercise parking privileges, then both the driving permit and drug consent form must be signed and returned.

Student Parking Permits
All students parking a vehicle on campus at Calallen High School are required purchase and display an official parking permit. To obtain a parking permit, the student must be able to show a current valid driver's license; provide proof of insurance on the vehicle; complete a driving permit application; and parent and student must consent to Random Drug Teesting. When complete, all information should be submitted to the Front Office at Calallen High School for the permit to be issued.
